Hospital Oncology Director

This teaching hospital, and Level I trauma center, extends care to over 350 patient beds. Accredited by The Joint Commission’s Health Facilities Accreditation Program, it stands as a beacon of excellence in health care provision. Additionally, it is recognized as a comprehensive stroke center and holds various other certifications.

The Director will oversee both clinical and administrative aspects of the Hospital's Radiation Oncology program, ensuring comprehensive management to enhance patient care. They will actively engage with radiation oncologists and referring physicians to surpass service expectations, utilizing strong managerial skills to motivate the team towards achieving short-term and long-term goals. Providing regular updates to leadership on service utilization, they will also collaborate on future planning, including advancements in technology. Additionally, they will direct the execution of current fiscal year plans and develop financial strategies for future years, while also educating radiation oncology staff on clinical best practices.

It is advantageous to possess a master's degree, as well as licensure in ARRT-T or CMD. The position requires extensive proficiency in personnel management, staffing strategies, and fostering team dynamics. Candidates must demonstrate strong self-direction, adept at overseeing multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, especially in diverse cultural settings.
