Role Description
This is a part-time, contract on-site role. The Hockey Skills Coach will be responsible for conducting on-ice training sessions, developing and executing practice plans, evaluating player performance, and providing feedback to players and parents. We are actively recruiting for skills coaches to participate in our upcoming elite youth hockey summer camp, July 5th-6th at RWJBarnabas Hockey House, the training center of the New Jersey Devils.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with players, parents, and coaching staff
Expertise in ice hockey and coaching
Experience in developing and executing training plans
Ability to evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback
Certifications in hockey coaching or related field is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or related field is preferred (but not mandatory)
Must be able to pass a background check
