Responsibilities
Connect with clients to assist them in securing residential mortgage loans, guiding them through the process with expert advice and support.
Build and cultivate relationships to grow our home lending business, both through internal referrals and external networking.
Originate and process residential real estate mortgage transactions, ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the loan process, maintaining high standards of satisfaction and quality.
Stay updated on industry trends and developments, continuously expanding your knowledge to better serve our clients.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of experience in mortgage sales, with a solid understanding of mortgage processing.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and laws, such as FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL, RESPA, and local real estate and finance laws.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong focus on customer service.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Emotionally intelligent and able to understand and empathize with clients' needs.
Business acumen and the ability to grasp profitability drivers and considerations.
Comfortable working flexible shifts and making outbound calls as needed.
