Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate History Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage effective instructional design methods and research-based practices to deliver exceptional educational experiences to our students.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to specific course and grade levels.
Align lesson plans with curriculum pacing guides and educational standards.
Conduct live virtual classes via Zoom, catering to both in-person and remote students.
Utilize online teaching tools effectively, including PowerPoint, Google Docs, etc.
Manage virtual coursework using Google Classroom.
Generate trimester progress reports and report cards.
Establish and uphold student behavioral and discipline policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field (Required)
Master's Degree (Preferred)
Minimum 5 years of History teaching experience (Preferred)
Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills
Requirements
Submission of a 5-10 minute teaching demo
Proficiency in Zoom and Google Classroom
Preparation of all materials prior to class
Assignment and grading of homework
Timely arrival to class, 5-10 minutes prior

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday (Weekends as needed)
