Job Description:

We're seeking a dedicated College Counselor to guide high school students through the college application process. You'll assist with researching colleges, preparing application materials, and navigating financial aid options. While we prefer candidates with a PhD, Master's degree holders are also welcome.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized guidance to students and families throughout the college application journey.
  • Assist in identifying suitable colleges based on academic achievements, interests, and goals.
  • Offer support with standardized testing, essay writing, and application submission.
  • Coordinate college visits, interviews, and information sessions for students.
  • Stay updated on college admissions trends, policies, and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with school staff to enhance students' college readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application materials.


Qualifications:

  • PhD or Master's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in college counseling or admissions preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
  • Commitment to promoting equity and inclusivity in college access.
