We have Contract role Ultrasound technologist for our client Waimea, HI. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.

Position Details:

Ultrasound technologist- Waimea, HI

Location : Waimea, HI 96796

Project Duration : 3+ months of contract

Position will be performing (General/ Vascular/ Echo)

Tech must be able to work independently.

Job Description:

• The technologist performs Ultrasound procedures according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by a licensed physician or their designated health care provider.
• The Sonographer provides information to the patient about the purpose of the ultrasound procedure and responds to the patient's questions and concerns.
• The Sonographer recognizes the patient's individuality and provides quality care in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner using professional and ethical judgment.
• The diagnostic medical sonographer maintains continued competence through lifelong learning, which includes continuing education, acquisition of specialty specific credentials, and re credentialing.
  
  

Requirements:

• Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Non Degree Program : Graduate of a two year AMA approved ultrasound technology program. (Required)
• (Appropriate Certification Required).
• Experience as an Ultrasound Technologist (Required)
• License/Certifications BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
