Northwest Partners is partnering with a national client in the construction industry to hire an experienced full-time Helpdesk Manager in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience managing Helpdesk functions and deep knowledge of ServiceNow.


What YOU will do:

  • Manage and oversee the Helpdesk team, ensuring efficient and effective support for all technical issues.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Desktop Support Analysts.
  • Coordinate and prioritize work orders, email, and phone support to meet team performance metrics.
  • Ensure proper documentation, analysis, troubleshooting, and repair of computer hardware and software.
  • Support and maintain Microsoft Windows 10 desktops and laptops, various software applications, and assorted technology such as printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
  • Promote a culture of safety and teamwork within the Helpdesk team.
  • Handle sensitive data with utmost confidentiality.
  • Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for after-hours emergency support.


What YOU will bring us:

  • Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent work experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 4 years of experience managing Helpdesk functions.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Office Software, computer hardware and peripherals, and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and Active Directory.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
  • A positive and professional image with a user-friendly attitude.
  • A team player mentality with a passion for information services support.
