Helix ITSM/Remedy Developer

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using BMC Helix Digital Workplace (DWP) service development including Asset management and Dashboards.
• Design, develop, and maintain BMC Remedy workflows and forms.
• Develop and maintain BMC Helix/Remedy reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain BMC Business Workflow
• Provide technical support for BMC Remedy ITSM applications.
• Perform evaluation of alternatives for BMC Helix out-of-the-box vs. custom solutions with an assessment of risks and costs
• Design and support Helix ITSM integrations, using Helix APIs or Jitterbit, with other applications.
• Support the Helix Discovery to Helix CMDB integration.
• Analyze the customer’s requirements and develop and design solutions using BMC Helix to satisfy those requirements.
• Responsible for developing ITIL and ITSM process flows within Helix.
• Must be able to collaborate and work with the team and customers from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern time Monday through Friday.

Mandatory Skills

• Minimum of 3+ years of BMC Remedy/Helix development experience, specifically with BMC Helix Digital Workplace (DWP)/Business Workflows service development experience
• Required Technical Skills: Grafana, Developer Studio, SQL, BPMN, RegEx, XML, HTML
• Strong experience of BMC Remedy ITSM architecture and data model including CMDB
• Strong experience of BMC Remedy ITSM workflows and forms
• Solid grasp of ITIL processes and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
• Abilities to support Helix Discovery, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Jitterbit, Azure DevOps Boards, Power BI, Power Automate, and/or SolarWinds.
• Technical Skills: TPL, PowerShell, Python, Bash, SPL, NoSQL, MongoDB, APEX
• ITIL Certification (or equivalent)
• BMC certifications a plus
• A degree related to Computer Science or any Information Technology (IT) certifications.
• Basic knowledge of the IT configuration for a typical Data Warehouse.
• Experience working and communicating as part of a remote team.
