Hedge Fund Investment Ops Specialist - $75-85K/year
About The Opening
Base compensation: $75-85K/year
Hourly position eligible for overtime
10% bonus target
12% profit sharing

Responsibilities
Manage, prepare, and review daily reconciliation process for cash and securities
Communicate and resolve discrepancies with external parties and internal departments
Prepare and analyze daily cash availability reports
Process repo trades and confirm settlements
Gain knowledge of firm’s trading strategy, operations, and cash flows
Assist in reviewing monthly shareholder statements
Perform other operational, recordkeeping, and data processing tasks
Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
1-2 years of relevant operational experience, including fund accounting, reconciliation, and custody
Understanding of accounting controls in investment management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
