Job Description:

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Head Videographer/Photographer who can thrive in the fast-paced world of social media & working within a start-up. This role demands a deep understanding of videography and photography trends, specifically in the food and beverage industry, to create high-quality, branded content that captivates our audience. The ideal candidate will excel in producing visually stunning, story-driven content that aligns with our brand's mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, write scripts, pre-plan & produce, shoot, and edit meaningful storytelling video content that connects deeply to the end consumer of the content.
• Create and edit video content for organic social + paid advertising channels.
• Develop the brand visually, via branded product/food photography and videography.
• Employ advanced video editing, sound design, and visual effects to craft content that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also strategically effective.
• Navigate high-pressure situations with agility and maintain high productivity without compromising quality.
• Actively participate in learning and adapting new skills in social media advertising and content strategy that will correlate to telling stories in a more effective, data-driven manner.
• Maintain rigorous accountability in all aspects of work; owning mistakes, learning from them, and continuously striving for improvement.
• Be involved in strategic content conversations with our internal marketing + creative teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with branded food and beverage + product photography & videography (Our website: theconsciousbar.co)
• Strong foundation in storytelling, understanding the nuances that drive viewer emotion and retention.
• Expertise in cinematography and video editing with a proven track record of engaging content creation. (VFX is a plus)
• In-depth understanding of social media platform behavior, with a data-driven approach to content creation.
• Excellent organizational skills, high responsiveness, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
• Curiosity and a strong desire to learn and grow within the field.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the latest insights in social media content creation and content-consumer behavior, particularly within platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• A portfolio that demonstrates both creative and technical expertise.
• Bonus: Experience with digital content creation, particularly in video, for brands with high audience engagement.
