Job Summary

  • Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability. Oversee the process to check in with our athletes on a regular basis.
  • Lead regular coach meetings and provide regular feedback to coaches on coaching the D1 way.
  • Oversee all athletic programming to ensure we are giving our athletes the best product and experience possible.
  • Membership sales, the Head Coach will be involved in the sales and upsale process. Regular roleplaying will be involved! Sales commissions will be a nice bonus!
  • Responsible for the hiring/firing/training/certification of all coaches.
  • Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
  • A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s members Scholastic (ages 7-18), Adults, and Teams, by:
    • Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service
    • Starting and finishing workouts on time
    • Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program
    • Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member
    • Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams
    • Delivering accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition
    • Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe

Responsibilities

  • Member Sales
  • Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
  • Managing coaching staff
  • Lead athlete events such as combines, community events
  • Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
  • Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
  • Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.


Qualifications

  • Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification
  • Holds at least 2 valid certification accredited by the NCCA.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, and personal training setting.
  • Has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
