Job Summary

As the Head of Supply Chain, you'll lead the entire supply chain process, from procurement and sourcing to logistics and inventory management. This strategic role is perfect for a dynamic leader who can enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability, all while driving forward our mission to innovate in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that supports our goals, reduces costs, and enhances efficiency and sustainability.

Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts for the best terms and ensuring top quality and reliability.

Procurement and Sourcing: Oversee procurement of materials and services, ensuring they meet our technical specifications, sustainability criteria, and budget requirements.

Logistics and Distribution: Manage logistics, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of components and finished products.

Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management policies to optimize levels, reduce waste, and ensure availability of critical components.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier issues, logistical challenges, and market fluctuations.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, and other departments to integrate supply chain strategies with company-wide planning and operations.

Sustainability Initiatives: Champion sustainability within the supply chain, seeking opportunities to reduce environmental impact and promote ethical sourcing.

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 15 years in supply chain management, preferably in aerospace, manufacturing, or technology sectors, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies.

Negotiation and Relationship Management: Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and risk management.

Leadership Skills: Proven leadership ability with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

Sustainability Focus: Commitment to sustainability and experience in implementing sustainable supply chain practices.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications in supply chain or business management are highly desirable.
