Job Title: Head of Supply Chain

Location: Initially remote, with an exciting opportunity to relocate to our new headquarters in Bend, OR, USA within the next 9-12 months.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $211,300 to $239,200 per year

What You'll Do

As our Head of Supply Chain, you'll lead our efforts in optimizing every aspect of our supply chain management. From procurement and sourcing to logistics and inventory management, your strategic vision will drive efficiency and sustainability across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-thinking supply chain strategy that aligns with our company goals, enhancing efficiency and minimizing costs.

Relationship Management: Cultivate strong partnerships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms while ensuring top-notch quality and reliability.

Procurement Excellence: Oversee the procurement process, ensuring all materials and services meet our rigorous standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

Logistics Mastery: Manage logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution, ensuring seamless delivery of components to manufacturing sites and finished products to customers.

Inventory Optimization: Implement effective inventory management policies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and maintain critical component availability.

Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, proactively addressing challenges like supplier issues, logistics hurdles, and market fluctuations.

Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with departments like Manufacturing, R&D, and Finance to integrate supply chain strategies into our broader business plans.

Sustainability Champion: Lead initiatives to promote sustainability within our supply chain, championing ethical sourcing practices and reducing our environmental footprint.

Team Leadership: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the supply chain team, inspiring and developing talent to drive our mission forward.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 15 years in supply chain management, ideally within aerospace, manufacturing, or technology, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strategic Vision: Proven ability to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies that drive organizational success.

Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities and the knack for building enduring supplier relationships.

Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of supply chain processes, from procurement to logistics and inventory management, with a focus on operational efficiency.

Leadership Acumen: Track record of inspiring and leading high-performing teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Sustainability Commitment: Passion for sustainability and experience implementing sustainable practices within supply chain operations.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration across all levels of the organization.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
