As Head of Partnerships, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our partnership strategy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, drive growth, and ensure mutual success. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of influencing senior business and technical leaders, delivering growth-oriented results in business development or channel roles, and a business background that enables effective interaction at the C-level. You think strategically, communicate persuasively, and create compelling value propositions for partners. You have a passion for emerging technologies and the ambition to shape the future to benefit partners.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with multiple sales and technical teams within both our company and partner organizations to define and execute joint technology, marketing, and sales initiatives.
  • Serve as a key team member in helping define and deliver the overall go-to-market strategy.
  • Engage partners' field sales organizations, channels, and end customers to create and drive enablement and opportunities for mutual growth.
  • Ensure that there is a strategic business plan for target markets and products, aligning with our company's and partners' strategic direction.
  • Create and execute the team's business plan with key internal stakeholders (e.g., service teams, marketing, product, legal, support, etc.).
  • Ensure that our sales field and partner business managers work closely with each partner's customer base to maximize success using our services.
  • Ensure that our platform is the preferred solution across all partner product lines.
  • Understand the technical requirements of partners and work closely with internal development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings.
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

About You:

  • 7+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience.
  • 7+ years in business development and strategic partnerships, or a similar role within the financial services industry, preferably in consumer financing.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful partnership strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field, and/or Military experience is required.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
  • Experience responding to requests for proposals (e.g., determining requirements, matching requirements to technical approach and solutions, developing solutions against requirements) experience.
  • Strong understanding of the fintech industry and emerging technologies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to deliver results.
