Illuminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere. This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area. Job Summary:

We're currently in search of an experienced Head of Learning & Talent Mangement. This role reports to the CHRO. It involves designing, planning, and implementing training and development programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with our organizational strategy. You'll be responsible for various areas, including L&D, Organization Development, Performance and Succession Planning, and overall, Talent Development Strategies. You'll also work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate ongoing and future program needs and the effectiveness of existing programs.


Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Learning & Development, Organization Development, and overall Talent Management strategies, process and procedures.
  • Establishes annual learning and development plan to support the growth and development of the workforce.
  • Ensures the design, development and implementation of all training programs, policies, and procedures and delivered per the plan and in alignment with business priorities, culture, and values.
  • Collaborates with HR business partners and business leaders to assess ongoing and future training and development needs.
  • Oversees the learning analytics strategy, ensuring measurement and effectiveness of established training and development programs.
  • Innovate training techniques through ongoing curiosity and engaging with industry leading partners. Suggest enhancement to existing training programs to meet the organization's changing needs.
  • Engages with vendors providing supplemental training programs or training content and ensures training resources and delivery methods are kept up to date and are effective.
  • Oversees the performance management and succession planning processes, programs and development strategies.
  • Aligns Sourcing Strategy with Core Values: Ensuring that the company's sourcing strategies and onboarding processes align with its core values, promoting a consistent and value-driven approach across all recruitment and hiring practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational and leadership development, psychology, or related area of study.
  • Minimum of 7 years work experience and 3 years of direct people leadership experience
  • Ability to manage timelines, projects, vendor agreements and budget.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and similar resources.
  • Solid understanding of Succession Planning and overall Organization and Talent Development best practices.
  • Prefer experience in manufacturing, distribution centers and/or related industries but not required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, Workday experience a plus.
