Design and execute the IT infrastructure to support both existing operations and future growth.
Lead the planning and execution of strategic IT projects while managing essential daily IT services.
Handle vendor management, including negotiations and relationship maintenance.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the company to align IT services with business needs.
Stay updated on industry trends to ensure the company utilizes effective and innovative IT solutions.
Manage IT security protocols and compliance with data security regulations and standards, including PHI, GxP, SOX, and other relevant frameworks.
Develop and maintain comprehensive IT policies and procedures.
Ensure robust IT disaster recovery and contingency planning.
Manage and optimize the IT budget.
Maintain and upgrade IT systems and infrastructure as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
10-15 years of experience in IT management, preferably within the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
In-depth understanding of clinical development processes and regulatory compliance relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, including GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and SOX.
Demonstrated experience transitioning an organization from clinical stages to full commercial operations.
Proven track record of effective team management and IT department leadership.
Extensive experience with both cloud-based and on-premise IT infrastructures.
Skilled in managing outsourced IT services and vendor partnerships.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
