Head of Global Supply Chain Strategy - Remote | WFH

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in revolutionizing global procurement strategies? We are seeking a passionate leader to join our dynamic team as the Head of Global Supply Chain Strategy. In this role, you'll collaborate directly with our Chief Operating Officer to drive strategic initiatives, forge key partnerships, and envision the future of procurement in our growing organization.

What You'll Do

Act as a bridge between manufacturing organizations, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to craft and implement long-term procurement strategies.

Lead and inspire a diverse team of supply chain professionals, both locally and internationally.

Work closely with internal and external partners to anticipate and leverage legislative and regulatory changes for strategic business advancement.

Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of crucial materials and services, supporting our ambitious multi-gigawatt solar and storage projects.

Cultivate strong relationships with current and prospective suppliers to maximize value and innovation.

Stay informed on industry trends, emerging markets, and technological advancements to continuously enhance our procurement strategies.

Navigate both physical and geopolitical risks, addressing challenges such as supply chain disruptions and market fluctuations.

Establish metrics and nurture strategic alliances to secure reliable access to global suppliers, essential for meeting our growth targets.

Must-Haves

Over 12 years of leadership experience in supply chain or procurement roles.

Extensive background (10+ years) in strategic leadership within the solar and/or storage industries.

Proven success in building and maintaining international relationships within procurement.

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Deep understanding of procurement best practices, regulatory requirements, and global supply dynamics.

Exceptional analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed strategic decisions.

Ability to communicate effectively and present confidently to diverse global audiences, including C-suite executives.

Education: Bachelor's degree in international business, economics, engineering, or global supply chain management; Master's degree preferred.

Working Environment

Opportunity for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Domestic and international travel required (up to 25%).
