Head of Finance

The company:

I am currently partnered with a cutting-edge Real Estate Technology firm. Due to continued and consistent growth, they are looking for a Head of Finance to drive the business forward. As the Head of Finance, you will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, overseeing accounting functions, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making processes. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure financial stability, scalability, and efficiency as they continue to grow and expand.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives
• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Manage accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to financial regulations
• Provide strategic guidance and analysis to support business initiatives and investment decisions
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and proactively address potential risks or opportunities
• Lead financial planning processes, including annual budgeting and long-term financial modeling
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions
• Hire, train and coach a new finance team
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies to optimize financial operations and reporting capabilities
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making and ensure compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the real estate or technology industry
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making at all levels
• Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
• Experience with financial systems and software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
