We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Engineering to join a SaaS Startup and lead them into their next phase of growth. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving environment.
As the Head of Engineering, you will be at the forefront of our engineering efforts, leading a talented team of front-end, back-end, and data engineers. Your mission will be to build and scale a high-performing engineering team, drive operational excellence, and ensure the technical quality and innovation of our products.
Responsibilties:
-Oversee and drive the activities of the software engineering team. -Train, hire and lead Engineers of different levels -Ensure technical standards are held to high accountability -Develop a partnership with Product, Sales and other departments -Teach best practices and set clear expectations -Grow headcount in conjunction with leadership -Scale product architecture while structuring solution design -Create engineering roadmap cross functionally
Requirements / Qualifications:
-Previous experience leading, managing, overseeing a software engineering team -Strong technical proficiency in multiple programming languages -At least 10 years of software engineering background preferably with Python -At least 5 years of experience in previous Head of Engineering role -Experience scaling a team from 5 to 30 -AWS cloud infrastructure background -SaaS Startup background
