WORK ENVIRONMENT:
We are a remote first company with the exception of a few positions being onsite in our designated locations. The positions which are remote, you will need to be able to travel a few times a year. You may be required at times to visit client sites or attend meetings at designated locations with your team members.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Nymbus IT Corporate team is composed of engineers responsible for the tools supporting the infrastructure of the company. You must be able to manage an internal corporate IT department including:
IT systems technology and control structures,
Manage hardware inventory in US, Mexico and overseas
Advanced knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems,
Experience in IT support and ticketing procedures
This is more than a hands-on technical and leadership role, where you will be expected to take charge of problems, and take the initiative to design, recommend, and deliver solutions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide strategic direction for the company's corporate systems
Set and manage Enterprise IT priorities and provide regular status reporting to management and key stakeholders
Develop cost effective, innovative solutions to technology challenges across the company
Develop and maintain departmental system documentation and procedures
Lead and mentor IT staff. Manage the IT helpdesk. Lead goal setting and performance review processes for the team.
Represent IT to customers, company's leadership team, and auditors. Serve as the primary escalation point for IT needs across the company
Serve as system administrator for a variety of corporate systems, including Identity Providers, SaaS and on-premise applications, remote desktop environments and end user workstations
Ensure appropriate change management procedures are followed
Manage hardware inventory including Mac, PC, and office equipment in the US, Mexico and overseas
Lead procurement efforts for corporate systems (identifying and selecting vendors, negotiating prices and terms, contract review and coordinating required approvals)
Manage the IT budget and find opportunities to optimize spend
Manage key technology projects including new implementations, upgrades, conversions and decommissions
Identify, investigate & implement new tools/products/services.
Incident & Escalation Management – surrounding email and phone outages.
Conduct periodic reviews of IT Support and ticketing performance
Work directly with internal risk and compliance teams to ensure compliance with controls and banking related regulatory policies.
Create (hire), grow, train, and manage a high-performance team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Oversee a SaaS or PaaS IT Operations for 3+ years
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant professional experience with progressively increasing responsibility in IT delivery
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader
Proficient in IT systems terminology
Advance background in ERP
Experience in data encryption
Experience with global on-premise cloud compute operations
Supporting annual compliance activities with knowledge of ISO-27001 SOX, PCI, SOC-2, HiTrust etc; and
Demonstrating hands-on industry experience within one or more of the following cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform
SALARY & BENEFITS:
$155,000 - $175,000 Annual Salary
