About the Role:

Our client is seeking two Co-Heads of Business Development to join their team and play a vital role in driving new investments. This is a senior sales position with a strong emphasis on building relationships and deal origination. They offer significant long-term growth opportunities for the right candidate.


What Your Day Looks Like:

  • Master of Outreach: You consistently achieve top results in cold outreach and leverage your network to secure valuable introductions. A strong connection to the leadership team is a major plus.
  • Building Trust in Person: Extensive travel (up to 50%) is required to build the face-to-face relationships crucial for success in this complex market.
  • Relationship Builder: You excel at fostering professional connections that deliver tangible benefits. Focus on providing value, not small talk.
  • Team Player: Strong communication and organization are key. You'll share insights and collaborate effectively to achieve shared goals.
  • Performance Driven: This is a results-oriented role. You're driven to succeed and directly rewarded for your contributions.


Your Key Responsibilities Would Be:

  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key decision-makers across various financial institutions and investment groups.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan aligned with the firm's strategic objectives.
  • Build a network of high-value contacts, including professionals at investment firms, wealth management groups, and corporations.
  • Support and lead marketing initiatives to enhance the firm's brand awareness and reputation. This may involve participation in industry events, media appearances, and other promotional activities.
  • Manage the deal flow process from initial contact to successful deal closure, utilizing a CRM system for efficient tracking and communication.
  • Contribute to various projects to support business development efforts and overall firm growth.


To Be Successful, You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in sourcing and business development with a history of achieving outstanding results.
  • A successful track record in sales or origination within financial services (corporate/commercial banking, private equity, or investment banking).
