Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Band Director. The Head Band Director will be responsible for leading and managing the overall band program, including conducting rehearsals, coordinating performances, and teaching music education. They will also be responsible for collaborating with other staff members, providing guidance to students, and fostering a positive and inclusive band culture.
Qualifications
Music Education, Music, and Bands experience
Expertise in Concert Band and Orchestral Music
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
Experience in developing and implementing band curriculum
Ability to manage and maintain band instruments and equipment
Knowledge of music technology and software is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field
Teaching certification is preferred
