Who we're looking for
As our Hacker Community Growth Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing our Whitehat Hacker Community. You will play a critical role in serving as the voice for this audience, ensuring that OpenBounty is providing a seamless and transparent communication platform for these hackers to responsibly disclose vulnerabilities. You will do this by engaging with our community members across various channels, including social media platforms, forums, Discord, Telegram, Twitter, and in-person events.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for our hacker community members, fostering meaningful interactions, and addressing inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly.
Content Creation: Develop engaging content, including blog posts, newsletters, social media posts, and announcements, to keep the community informed and excited about our project and developments.
Community Growth: Implement strategies to grow and expand our community, including outreach initiatives, partnership collaborations, and targeted marketing campaigns.
Event Coordination: Organize and host virtual events, AMAs (Ask Me Anything sessions), webinars, and workshops to educate, engage, and connect with our community members.
Moderation: Monitor community channels to ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere, enforce community guidelines, and moderate discussions effectively.
Feedback Gathering: Gather feedback from the community regarding product features, user experience, and community needs, and communicate insights to the relevant internal teams for continuous improvement.
Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with key community stakeholders, influencers, and partners to foster collaboration and advocacy for our projects.
Knowledge Sharing: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies in the Web3 space, and share insights and knowledge with the community.
The right person has
Strong passion for blockchain technology and the security of the web3 ecosystem.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
Experience managing online communities, preferably in the blockchain or tech industry.
Proficiency in using social media platforms, community management tools, and analytics to track and measure community engagement.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Proactive mindset with a problem-solving attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional community experiences.
Real-world experience as a hacker or understanding of the needs of this specific community.
Previous experience with blockchain projects, cryptocurrency communities, or decentralized applications.
Familiarity with blockchain networks, protocols, and consensus mechanisms.
Experience organizing and hosting virtual events, AMAs, and educational workshops.
Knowledge of Web3 technologies, including Ethereum, IPFS, smart contracts, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
