We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. Duties:
Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
Process reservations and manage room assignments
Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality
Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Perform night audit duties as required
Qualifications:
Previous experience in guest relations or hotel industry is preferred
Multilingual skills are a plus
Knowledge of front desk operations and hospitality management
Familiarity with night audit procedures is an asset
Proficient in operating phone systems and handling phone etiquette
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Able to handle a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Previous customer related experience an asset
Must be flexible in terms of working hours - regular coverage of overnight shift
Ability to handle cash effectively and with accuracy
Prior experience working with Opera Cloud or a related system
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
