As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the hospitality industry and be part of a dynamic team.
Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Process reservations and manage room assignments
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as required
- Previous experience in guest relations or hotel industry is preferred
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of front desk operations and hospitality management
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is an asset
- Proficient in operating phone systems and handling phone etiquette
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Service focused personality is essential; experience is an asset
- Able to handle a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Previous customer related experience an asset
- Must be flexible in terms of working hours - regular coverage of overnight shift
- Ability to handle cash effectively and with accuracy
- Prior experience working with Opera Cloud or a related system
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
