The Ameritania Hotel at Times Square is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join its front office team. As a GSA, you will be responsible for checking guests in/out, running daily reports, handling guest transactions, answering any phone or in-person inquiries, and ultimately facilitating a seamless guest experience with all hotel departments.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in guest services at a hotel or equivalent required
Substantive working knowledge of Opera software, strongly preferred
Knowledge of general hotel safety and security protocols, preferred
Ability to perform computer-based tasks efficiently and accurately, such as data entry, accounting, word processing, and billing
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Time management and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to read and comprehend instructions as well as adhering to directives
Ability to correspond with memos
Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization including corrective conversations
Additional language skills, a plus
