Under general direction from the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Group & Premium Sales Manager initiates or responds to contact with new and repeat clients to promote and sell the assets of the venue. This role includes active sales solicitation calls, face to face selling, and collaboration with the Sales & Marketing team.

This role will pay a salary of $43,000 to $48,000 plus commissions

The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center features a 12,500-seat arena, 34 luxury suites, 476 club seats, over 54,000 sq. ft. of meeting and exhibition space and an arena view restaurant, the Spotlight Grille. The arena is home to Florida State Men’s and Women’s basketball and is known for its electric atmosphere and fierce home court advantage.   • Responsible for sales, marketing, and solicitation of new business opportunities for group and premium seating.
  • Develop and implement sales plans for group sales, club seats, and suite rentals.
  • Develop and implement creative approaches to enhance fan experience by adding event assets, F&B packages, etc...
  • Achieve / exceed assigned hustle metrics, including at least 100 new contacts a week.
  • Achieve / exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Manage sales internship program and VIP Suite Entrance staff.
  • Work with third party event promoters on group sales plans and budgets.
  • Assist in the management of the facility’s current suite license agreements.
  • Track and manage daily, weekly, monthly sales reports and provide results to the finance department.
  • Plan and coordinate theme night promotions and special events for corporate executives, businesses, fans, and all applicable customers.
    • Event day responsibilities as required.
    • College Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, or Sports Management.
    • Min. of 2 -3 years prior Sales experience, preferably in Sports & Entertainment.
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
    • Ability to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have web-related background.
    • Must be a self-motivated team player who is a creative and proactive problem solver.
    • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in addition to normal business hours.
