Job title: Group Exercise Instructor

Location: Tampa, FL

Schedule: Part time

Qualification:

  • Hold current CPR, AED, and first aid certifications, along with specialized fitness certifications from recognized organizations
  • Minimum six months teaching experience if certification lacks a practical exam component
  • Must be fluent in English with effective communication and customer service skills
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to fitness center standards for class safety and conduct
  • Comply with military base security requirements and manage necessary access credentials

Duties:

  • Lead a variety of group exercise classes, ensuring punctual start and finish times
  • Set up before and clean up after classes and manage equipment maintenance
  • Oversee instructor certification compliance and address performance issues based on customer feedback
  • Accurately record class attendance and manage class schedules
