Title: Group Account Supervisor

Location: New York, NY

Department/Discipline: Account Services

You are the agency advocate. You represent the agency in everything you do. Your clients rely on you as much as they do their own team and count on you to place their interests at the forefront of every decision. You do so, never losing focus on your role as a driver of the agency’s objectives. You guide clients toward solutions beyond their existing commitment and encourage them to embrace gutsy ideas that differentiate and elevate their brands. Your approach allows others the chance to learn and grow. You have an innate ability to speak to people in a way that lets them know they are respected and valued.

Gutsy

  • Focus on driving day-to-day work while planning towards longer term brand goals
  • Oversee a large brand or multiple brands, leading :$2-5MM in client business
  • Manage the client relationship, expectations, and deliverables, including changes in project scope and implications
  • Lead your team to ensure error-free client submissions, identify barriers in delivering quality work, and partner with your cross-functional team to quickly define solutions
  • Regularly lead development of agency written and verbal POVs as you actively contribute to or lead relevant client engagements (e.g., PRC, POA/sales/training, extended team meetings, advisory boards)


Creative community

  • Be the core team lead. Build and foster relationships across all departments, encouraging maximum engagement and excitement for the clients, work, and team
  • Act as a sounding board for junior team members across all departments and help teach problem solving skills for future application
  • Foster growth by creating opportunities for direct reports and actively mentoring and guiding them


Invents new possibilities

  • Add value by identifying opportunities for improvement and influencing client decision-making
  • Engage in new business pitches when opportunities arise


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-6 years in an agency; pharmaceutical experience highly desired
  • Prior internal team and client management experience
  • Willingness to travel 20-40% of the time depending on client location
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to lead teams in complex situations


The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
