Job Description

Key Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Shafter, CA. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of the facility, including painting, repairs, and maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Paint various areas around the plant, including walls, poles, parking lot lines, and pedestrian walkways.
• Replace and repair toilets, towel dispensers, faucets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures as needed.
• Perform water line repairs throughout the facility to ensure proper functionality.
• Complete office repairs such as installing mini blinds, door knobs, doors, hinges, and flooring, ensuring uniformity and high-quality workmanship.
• Maintain walkway safety netting and perform fencing repairs as required.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently as needed for various tasks.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and punctuality in completing assigned tasks.
• Utilize tablet mobile devices to receive and complete work orders efficiently.
• Use hand tools such as hammers, shovels, wrenches, etc., to perform maintenance and repair tasks effectively.
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in maintenance or related field preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for maintaining uniformity in office areas.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in using tablet mobile devices for work orders.
• Must be physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
