Job Description
I. Summary In this role, the ground hand will assist equipment operators by keeping the screener clean and moving loads in the yard. To be successful, the load inspector must be organized and detail oriented. Ultimately, an outstanding load inspector is a team player and possesses a strong work ethic. II.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
While performing the essential functions of this job, the ground hand will be working in an outdoor environment. The employee may be near moving mechanical parts and will be exposed to all weather conditions. The noise level in the environment can be loud and will require ear protection. The employee is required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. This job also requires frequent bending, kneeling, and standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in confined spaces.

- Maintain screener cleanliness
- Inspect and maintain equipment.
- Drive dump truck to move material in the yard
- Must be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Performs general facility cleanup.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Ability to communicate well coworkers
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in all elements such as rain, cold, and heat
- High School graduate or G.E.D. preferred
