Job Description

Position Summary

Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties related to the grocery department which includes stocking and maintenance of grocery displays, while assisting customers with grocery related needs

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Stocks and rotates grocery merchandise
• Prepares, packages, and prices product as directed
• Maintains a current knowledge of product
• Maintains a clean and organized work area free of hazards
• Provides exceptional customer service
• Abides by Westborn Markets time and attendance policy
• Keeps a positive and helpful attitude during length of shift
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Samples product at the direction of the department manager
  
  

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

• Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position
• Ability to operate a hand-jack and hi-lo
• Ability to receive, stock, and deliver goods
