About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Midweight Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for fashion, and a flair for innovative design. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including digital campaigns and print materials, helping to shape and enhance the visual identity of Paul Fredrick. This is a mid-level position, perfect for a designer ready to take on more responsibility and bring fresh ideas to our brand.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and other creatives to understand and implement the brand’s design direction.
  • Independently generate and execute original graphical ideas that align with the brand’s aesthetic and marketing objectives.
  • Develop and execute graphical concepts for email campaigns, social media, catalogs, and other marketing materials.
  • Create visually compelling and high-quality layouts and designs.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to Paul Fredrick's brand standards and best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
  • Guide the end-to-end design process, from initial concept to final execution, maintaining the highest standards of quality and creativity.
  • Be an excellent team player, able to receive direction and constructive criticism, and communicate your ideas clearly and effectively.


Qualifications:

  • Stunning portfolio showcasing your design and conceptual work, highlighting creativity and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of design experience, preferably with digitally native apparel brands.
  • Strong eye for visual composition and excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and branding principles.
  • Self-starter with positive energy and a collaborative attitude.
  • Proven ability to work with brands that embrace storytelling and sophisticated marketing strategies.
  • Experience with e-commerce and direct-to-consumer apparel business models is preferred.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other creatives.
  • Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism gracefully and incorporate feedback into your work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain and present your ideas clearly.


Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficient in Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Knowledge of Figma is a plus.


Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in photography editing and/or illustration.
  • Skills in motion animation.
