Summary: The role of the Graphic Designer is to provide creative services to our internal Lockwood teams.

Responsibilities

  • Executes creative designs that can be carried across relevant media and long-term uses; ensures that there is an adequate handover process from Creative or Art Director and that the integrity of the design idea is maintained.
  • Serves as a resource in providing design expertise for client-facing projects, internal communication needs, and business development initiatives.
  • Adheres to client style and branding guides as well as client and Lockwood team preferences when working on specific accounts.
  • Translates scientific/medical ideas into creative concepts, creates novel design elements, and develops innovative approaches for initiatives and projects.
  • Manages the creative process from concept to completion.
  • Reviews and update slide decks, communications, and other print and web-based materials with a critical eye for creative elements and branding, when applicable.
  • Serves as resource to account and scientific teams in providing design input, including creative concepting, presentations, branding, layout, and production, as needed.
  • Assists Strategic Services teams in putting together crucial pitch materials.

Education: A bachelor’s degree is required.

Professional Skills & Experience

  • Three to five years of relevant graphic design experience in a healthcare communications environment is required.
  • Candidates must have the ability to grasp and retain scientific information, along with a strong technical aptitude and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access as well as Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.

This position can be performed remotely in all but the following locations: Colorado, New York City, San Francisco County, CA.
