Lappo was founded by a Fashion Designer and Marketing Wizard, a Painter and Hardware Inventor, and an Architect with knowledge of just about everything and the demands of a mad-scientist one step away from intellectual enlightenment.
We seek a highly skilled Graphic Designer, a role deeply valued in our company, and strongly assessed. If you possess a true eye, an exceptional grasp of design and/or UI principles, and the ability to translate our designers’ and leading team designs, visions (and marketing strategies) into crystal clear visual formats, we invite you to apply for this role in our team.
🎨 Role Responsibilities:
Conceptualise and craft graphic elements that communicate our vision across various platforms.
Work collaboratively with a team, (and often directly with the founders) in a demanding and highly rewarding environment.
Do not just stay updated of evolving industry trends - build them, we never say “it’s over”, either it’s unfinished or it’s wrong.
Work on projects from initial ideation to final production, high-quality deliverables.
Exercise expertise in layout, colour theory, and typography in every creative output.
🏆 Qualifications:
Although a bachelor’s degree in graphic design may be advantageous for yourself, we do not believe Art to be the fruit of “paper-degrees”, hands-on work experience or portfolios are truly valued. (A comprehensive portfolio that displays a track record of successful design projects)
Mastery of design software, Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign - if it satisfies the eye, your tool is own responsibility.
Ability to communicate ideas and opinions without constrains - confidence in Lappo is a measure of skill-assets possessed.
time-organizationalmanagement skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. No needless strict conventional rules are imposed, as long as it efficient to you.
Experience with both print and digital media, with web design capabilities being an added advantage.
