What You Will Do

We are looking to add a new Graphic Designer to our creative team here at Franklin Sports. This position will be responsible to support the team for creating visually engaging and aesthetically compelling designs for a variety of avenues within our brand.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the graphic design industry, experience in the sporting goods industry or other brands related to consumer product and marketing.

The position is located at our Headquarters in Stoughton, MA with a hybrid office option and will report to the Sr. Director, Creative.

In More Detail, You Will

  • Produce packaging artwork and product graphics while implementing designs across all divisions. The Graphic Designer will have a key support role in building the on-shelf presence of Franklin products at retail and online
  • Develop packaging line looks and style guides for all product categories
  • Create logos for sub-brands and new products
  • Build licensed packaging and product artwork from pre-designed team style guides
  • Design and layout for seasonal sales catalogs
  • Web design: HTML, CSS, JS and email marketing templates as well as social media content
  • Perform all production work from initial file layout to packaging and sending to print
  • Provide direct support for team members as needed and back-up support to other artists
  • Photo and image manipulation, retouching, color correction, and clipping as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field required
  • 2-3 years of graphic design industry experience
  • Proficient understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Exposure to the sporting goods industry or consumer packaged goods preferred
  • Portfolio of dynamic creative work
  • Skills in motion graphics, video, or digital media, social, HTML, CSS, JS a plus

  • Creative personality
  • Good understanding of graphic design and experience building files for both print and digital
  • Demonstrated hands-on skills in the latest Adobe Creative Suite
  • Possess dynamic portfolio of work within a variety of industries and disciplines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping keen attention to detail
  • Team approach
  • Must be able to adhere to a high standard of quality while meeting deadlines and remaining highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of company personnel
  • Understanding of print production and the printing process
  • Advanced computer user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Interact independently with internal and external parties, has the knowledge to make independent decisions.
