Position: Graphic Design Teacher/Tutor
Type: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Role Overview
We are looking for a talented individual with a deep understanding of effective teaching methods to create an energetic and supportive learning environment. You will be responsible for hosting virtual classes, teaching graphic design principles using Canva, and attending to the psychosocial needs of your students.
Key Responsibilities
Host and manage virtual classrooms via Zoom, utilizing its features effectively.
Teach students how to use Canva for graphic design.
Design and present lessons that cover graphic design principles and technical software usage.
Prepare and distribute learning materials, simplifying complex concepts for better understanding.
Provide individual attention to enhance student performance and address behavioral concerns.
Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging learning atmosphere.
Experience And Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching children.
Proficiency in graphic design and Canva.
Ability to create and deliver lesson plans that improve students' graphic design skills.
Successful completion of a criminal background check.
Requirements
Own a laptop or desktop computer (Mac or Windows) that is no older than 5 years, with supported hardware and software.
Proficiency in installing and using Zoom.
Access to a well-lit, quiet space for conducting classes.
Flexible working hours, with a commitment to agreed-upon class schedules.
