Responsibilities include:
Assist in the preparation and submission of grant applications to federal agencies, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all materials.
Manage the onboarding process for new grants, including setting up accounts, establishing budgets, and monitoring expenditures for compliance.
Prepare financial reports and other documentation required by federal agencies, ensuring adherence to budgetary and regulatory requirements.
Stay current on federal regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements and facilitating audits of grant-funded activities.
Coordinate the closeout process for grants, preparing final financial reports and ensuring proper accounting and disposal of grant-related assets.
Serve as the primary point of contact for federal agencies and external stakeholders, collaborating with internal departments to ensure effective grant management.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in grant administration, preferably at the federal level
Strong understanding of federal grant regulations, compliance requirements, and cost principles
Proficiency in financial management and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Experience with federal grant management systems and working with federal agencies
Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS) or similar certification preferred
