Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma. As a Graduate Research Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting teaching, research, performing data analysis, and collaborating with faculty members on various projects. Your day-to-day tasks may include literature reviews, data collection, laboratory experiments, data analysis, and preparing research reports.
Qualifications
Analytical Skills, Research, and Laboratory Skills in the area of optical and quantum optical devices and systems
Experience in conducting research and working in a laboratory setting
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with members
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Science or Engineering
Experience with optical software (e.g., Lumerical, COMSOL, etc )
Data Analysis and Communication skills are a plus
TOELF grade
GRE is a plus
Students with a Master's in Engineering or Physics are highly encouraged to apply.
