Graduate Engineer

What will you be doing? The Graduate Engineer is responsible for performing engineering work in support of assigned projects, working with the assigned project manager, technical leads, and regional manager to complete tasks in a timely manner.

More of the awesome work includes but is not limited to;

• Supports project team in the performance of field work such as soil resistivity testing, corrosion testing, concrete pH testing, condition assessments, flow monitoring, smoke testing, field reconnaissance, inspection, odor data collection and drawing checks.
• Uses technical and/or engineering knowledge to complete calculations, summarize results, and write reports.
• Assists project team in preparing a complete technical report, including conclusions and recommendations, utilizing Word.
• Follows V&A’s project management procedures when assigned to manage specific tasks and projects under the direction of the project manager or technical lead.
• Assists with maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep of all V&A equipment, tools, vehicles, and office and warehouse spaces.
• Assists with general office projects.
• Maintains current certification for First Aid/CPR and Confined Space Entry. Completes other training as required to perform duties as described herein.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science from a four-year university or college in Engineering, or a related field
• 0-3 years’ experience as an engineer or assistant
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• EIT preferred
• CP1 or CP2 highly desirable
