About the role:

We are looking for a Global Technology Sourcing Manager to oversee hardware and software procurement for our offices. In this pivotal role, you will drive organizational success by expertly negotiating Enterprise SaaS and Cloud engagements. Your key responsibilities will include creating value in Cloud Services, Enterprise Software Solutions, and Network Hardware for our offices. Leveraging your industry knowledge, you will lead initiatives to achieve significant year-over-year savings, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and build strong supplier relationships. This individual contributor role reports to the Director of Procurement and is based onsite at our headquarters in Roseland, New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement category management strategies for IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and resellers, to create value and align with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leverage market intelligence to identify opportunities for improvement and stay informed on industry trends.
• Develop and enhance sourcing strategies by leveraging industry best practices, emerging trends, and thorough market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
• Leverage new and existing relationships and expertise with enterprise software providers and service providers to capture the best business outcomes for the company
• Identify new vendors and solutions that may improve the overall end-user satisfaction and company outcome for CoreWeave
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing strategies align with organizational goals and business requirements.
• Lead contract negotiations with Cloud Service Providers and top-tier Enterprise Software Providers, ensuring agreements are cost-effective, favorable, and compliant with legal requirements.
• Demonstrate expert negotiation skills and proactively monitor contract performance, addressing issues and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Manage vendor true-ups and negotiated contract terms to match the growth of the company
• Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs, managing risks to ensure business continuity and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with procurement and cross-functional teams to share best practices and lessons learned.
  
  

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Enterprise Technology sourcing, with a focus on enterprise software/SaaS, Cybersecurity, Cloud services, and Network Hardware.
• 5+ years of experience managing senior-level relationships with top-tier enterprise SaaS vendors.
• 5+ years of enterprise technology procurement and contract negotiation experience with SaaS vendors, including in-depth knowledge of licensing models and key contract terms.
• Demonstrated success in achieving 10%+ year-over-year savings, expertise in contract negotiations, and delivering measurable, valuable results aligned with organizational KPIs.
• Strong understanding of data analytics with the capability to utilize data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
• Demonstrated success in thriving within a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to shifting priorities.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in the IT industry, with the ability to foresee and address potential sourcing challenges.
  
  

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,000-$165,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Hybrid Workplace

Successful candidates will be expected to attend onboarding training at our NJ Headquarters within their first several weeks of employment, with subsequent quarterly travel requirements of 1 week duration.
