Job Summary:
The Global Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage the company’s overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize process efficiency and productivity. This role will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors, ensuring that the company’s supply chain is efficient and effective throughout all stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement a global supply chain strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives
Vendor Management: Identify and qualify new vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery
Logistics Management: Oversee the logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products
Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to minimize costs and ensure product availability. Implement inventory control policies and procedures
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to address disruptions
Data Analysis: Use data and analytics to forecast demand, manage inventory, and optimize supply chain operations
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations regarding shipping, customs, and import/export
Technology Integration: Leverage technology to improve supply chain visibility, track performance, and enhance decision-making
Sustainability Initiatives: Implement sustainable practices within the supply chain to minimize environmental impact and promote corporate social responsibility
Cost Management: Manage supply chain budgets and work to reduce costs while maintaining quality and efficiency
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus
Experience: Minimum of 3years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
Skills:
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, practices, and tools
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance requirements
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
Relentless sense of ownership, curiosity, and initiative and a self-starter mindset
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for work

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
The estimated base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $165,000
Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus and equity plan
