Your Role

As a Global Logistics Specialist, you will be the linchpin in our logistics operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Negotiating: Work with carriers and couriers to secure the best rates.

Facilitating Deliveries: Ensure timely delivery and arrival of patient specimens.

Tracking Shipments: Monitor shipments to and from our laboratories, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Problem-Solving: Expedite and recover delayed shipments, and handle customs clearance and distressed shipments.

Resource Management: Support sales and operations with international shipping solutions and compliance with regulations.

Design and Test: Create and test shipping containers and methods for optimal performance.

Monitor Expenses: Keep an eye on expenses and manage vendor invoices.

What We're Looking For

To Excel In This Role, You Need To Have

Education: A high school diploma or GED.

Experience: Four years of transportation-related experience.

Preferred Candidates Will Also Have

An associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

Two years of transportation-related experience.

Five years of experience in business, customer service, human relations, and/or accounting.

Additionally, you should be skilled in systems analysis, planning, and negotiating, with experience in couriers, databases, and logistics systems. Strong human relations, customer service, and communication skills are essential. Self-motivation, organization, and the ability to work independently are key traits for success in this role.

Compensation And Benefits

Pay Range: $23.48 - $34.10 per hour.

Work Schedule

Full Time: 80 hours per pay period.

Shifts: Rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
