Join our client's team as a Global HR Business Partner (GHRBP) and play a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with their dynamic workforce. In this critical position, you will serve as a strategic consultant to management, addressing HR-related issues and championing employee needs. You'll proactively anticipate HR requirements, collaborate closely with their HR and business management teams, and craft integrated solutions that deliver value and support their organizational goals. This role involves maintaining a keen understanding of the business unit's financial health, strategic plans, culture, and competitive landscape, with potential responsibilities in international human resources. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct monthly meetings with business units to consult on HR guidance and resolve complex employee issues.
Analyze HR metrics to develop and refine policies, programs, and solutions in collaboration with the HR group.
Manage employee relations including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, compensation, and termination.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements for day-to-day employee management to minimize legal risks.
Provide comprehensive performance management guidance to managers, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
Enhance work relationships, boost morale, and improve productivity and retention through strategic HR interventions.
Interpret and advise on HR policies, develop contract terms for hires and transfers, and handle all HR transactions for global employees within the business unit.
Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters, partnering with the legal department as necessary.
Offer guidance on executive coaching and business unit needs, participate in training program evaluations to ensure their effectiveness.
Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned to support business needs.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have recent experience in software, SAS, or technology industries.
Required global human resource experience.
Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in handling complex employee relations and expertise in HR disciplines such as compensation, organizational development, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and knowledge of employment law.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively and promptly.
Nice to have:
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) Certification.
PHR or SPHR Certification.
COMPENSATION:
Base up to $110k plus annual bonus
