Job Description

The eCommerce Global Payments and Gift Card Lead fills a critical role in our global Direct-to-Consumer group within the Marketing team, as payments are a key element in the interaction with our consumers and core element to drive our business growth.

As the Global eCommerce Payments Lead, it’s your goal to make purchasing from our eCommerce websites a seamless experience, while overseeing the end-to-end processes that are related to payments.

In doing so, your collaboration with other channels and functions is crucial to develop Bose websites as an attractive channel to purchase from, whilst providing a seamless purchase experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive modernization of our global Ecommerce payment offerings by closely following industry trends and emerging solutions related to digital Consumer payments, fraud prevention and gift card journeys
  • Define and own the Global Payments and Gift card capability roadmap and oversee the end-to-end implementation while working with product owners and business/functional leads to define business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Be the internal subject matter expert regarding online payments offering and help Bose maximize conversion at the lowest cost
  • Drive gift card product vision and execution, including future development of this capability into its own revenue generating channel.
  • Be the change champion and drive implementation of required operating models when new Payments/Gift card capabilities are launched
  • Act as the global vendor relationship manager for all external parties involved in our eCommerce payment processing experiences.
  • Lead event-driven quarterly portfolio reviews with all our Global Payments, Fraud and Gift Card partners, including competitive benchmarking to ensure that the tools and processes in place are effective, efficient and in support of our business strategy
  • Oversee the complete eCommerce payments pipeline from authorization till settlement and report out with transparent overviews of this process to senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal order management and risk team to set payment acceptance rates & fraud threshold targets for each eCommerce country and collaborate with both internal and external parties to continuously monitor and improve these.
  • Provide clear overviews and reports regarding billing KPIs, performance, and trends to senior leadership.
  • Actively monitor all global payment accounts to ensure account setup is correct and complete. Act as the first point of contact regarding KYC processes and collaborate with other departments to get the required documents updated in time.

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience Requirements

  • Strong experience with payment and risk management tools (i.e. Adyen / PayPal / Klarna / Forter), as well as gift cards tools (i.e. Fiserv).
  • Proven experience with eCommerce fraud prevention and analysis.
  • Proven experience and strong knowledge of sales and accounting processes related to Direct-to-Consumer Sales.
  • Strong interest for the latest trends and solutions for payment processing, fraud prevention, gift cards in an eCommerce world.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to execute to established timelines.
  • Experience in producing director and manager level reporting and insights, whereby data is translated into insights and action items.
  • Extensive problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Program/Project management and program/project monitoring experience.
  • Ability to self-manage and operate effectively with little oversight.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and welcome collaboration and feedback from other team members.
  • Technically adept with ability to pick up on new technologies quickly.
  • Experience in working globally remotely with multiple teams across different departments and different time zones.
  • Excellent communications skills – Being able to communicate about technical subjects with non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Experience in Vendor relationship management.
  • Experience working within Agile structured teams.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Understanding of process development, with the job description in mind.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Education & Experiences

3-5 years in similar positions or similar experiences

BA in Business, Finance, Analytics or related field
