Key Responsibilities
Crafting Product Development Strategy
Collaborate with senior leadership to create a comprehensive 3-year product plan.
Utilize international market insights to enhance our global product strategy.
Supporting Product Development
Provide strategic direction to design and product management teams.
Collaborate with engineering to improve design and manufacturing processes.
Oversee the development of product briefs from inception to market launch.
Manage product lifecycle to uphold quality standards.
Leading Innovation
Lead R&D initiatives by advocating for forward-thinking ideas.
Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the sporting goods market.
Conducting Market Research
Collect feedback and insights from customers and retail partners.
Conduct field visits to monitor retail trends and consumer behavior.
Work with marketing to execute targeted product research strategies.
Stay informed about competitors' activities in our product categories.
Quality Assurance Support
Collaborate with QA team and Product Safety Committee to enhance product quality.
Implement quality improvements throughout the product development cycle.
Additional Responsibilities
Contribute to special projects and initiatives supporting company goals.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is required.
MBA or background in Engineering is a plus.
Skills
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with MS Project preferred.
Strong understanding of basic biomechanics is advantageous.
Other Requirements
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
