The opportunity

In this critical, customer facing role, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Business Development, you will be instrumental in executing EPGs global strategy to deliver revenue growth through our enterprise portfolio of services and solutions. The Global Business Development role is responsible for uncovering and closing “new” business opportunities in assigned target accounts. You will develop targeting and sales plans, develop specific EPG solutions to meet customer needs, oversee sales deal strategies, negotiate contracts, and nurture customer and strategic relationships.


Role responsibilities

How will you make an impact within this great role?

  • Effectively target assigned accounts creating a robust sales pipeline of “new” business opportunities through existing relationships and effective outreach.
  • Develop and execute account plans across Envision Pharma Group's enterprise portfolio of services/solutions.
  • Partner with the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Business Development on a broad range of sales and marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and revenue growthMaintain a clear understanding of the client's portfolio, strategic priorities, and market position to ensure proactive targeting
  • Present Envision Pharma Group's services/solutions in a consultative manner to pharma and biotech leadership and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with internal Subject Matter Experts, Operational and Scientific Leads to develop customized solutions that address specific client needs and communicate Envision Pharma Group's value proposition.
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs by developing and conducting presentations, developing pricing proposals and SOWs.
  • Lead and manage all sales opportunities from end-to-end ensuring a high win rate.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely entering of all sales opportunities in SF.comMeet and exceed all sales metrics including “new” business signings targets, pipeline generation and activity metrics.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement changes in strategy as appropriate.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting to Executive Team.
  • Assist in the determination of professional conferences to attend and represent Company as a leader.


Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & Expertise

  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare space.
  • Deep understanding of Medical Affairs, Commercial and Marketing, and Value and Access organizations within Pharma and Biotech.
  • Proven successful track record of selling back into Pharma and Biotech companies.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging executives and working with senior leaders to develop and implement high‐growth strategies, providing complex analysis and expert insights.
  • Ability to strategize and implement plans consistent with goals of EPG.
  • Strong understanding of financial forecasting, reporting, and planning.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
