Global Brand Marketing Assistant

Who You Are:

The Global Brand Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Michael Kors Brand Marketing team. This is a collaborative roll that entails working cross functionally with departments at MK HQ including but not limited to Retail marketing, Wholesale marketing, Advertising PR, Social, Business and Product Sales teams, Creative Services, Visual Merchandising, Editorial, Production, Licensing, and Finance. Additionally, this position is a key liaison between Michael Kors Headquarters and international partners, helping to manage their seasonal marketing planning and local brand initiatives. Teamwork, time management, strong communication skills, and attention to detail are critical aspects of this position’s responsibilities.


What You’ll Do:

  • Receive and coordinate review of local seasonal marketing plans, calendars and other local activities that involve & require the partnership of internal teams. In conjunction with Brand Marketing team, provide feedback and guide approval process through to execution.
  • Help to facilitate seasonal planning process, working cross functionally with all internal teams (outlined above) and Global Partners to develop campaign briefs that strategically align with business priorities.
  • Assist Sr. Global Marketing Manager and Global Marketing Manager in executing Global and Local marketing campaigns
  • Lead GWP program globally
  • Help manage Golf Ambassador relationship and bespoke product coordination
  • Help manage seasonal packing with creative team
  • Compile all brand marketing materials and presentations, including but not limited to brand presentations, video, brand guidelines, marketing cheat sheet, brand campaign recaps, monthly Board of Director statements, and ad hoc presentations as requested
  • Track competitive on a seasonal basis, and compile analysis to present to internal teams. Partner with international teams on competitive analysis pertaining to localized campaigns.
  • Conduct NYC based retail market research, prepare reports and share internally.
  • Research and stay on the pulse of emerging trends and opportunities to enhance our marketing activities.
  • Process, Track and record all departmental invoices maintaining an understanding of current balance of Brand Marketing budget
  • Update and manage Michael Kors International marketing contact list
  • Schedule and Book meeting spaces for all Brand Marketing team members as needed
  • Other administrative duties as requested


You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Entry level option or preferred one-year experience in challenging work environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
