The Role
company is seeking a Germany Researcher to contribute to the collection, review, and management of political violence and protest data across Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein. This fully remote position requires 30 hours per week and is suitable for any location with reliable internet access. The role involves weekly deliverables submitted over weekends and is entry-level.
Responsibilities
Collect and review political violence and protest data from various sources.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability using Excel templates.
Contribute to detailed quantitative data management tasks.
Skills and Competencies
University degree in conflict studies, peacebuilding, international development, or related field.
Proficiency in Excel; fluency in English and German (Dutch preferred).
Experience in desk-based research with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
Familiarity with political, social, and protest movements in Germany or related contexts.
Access to computer, reliable internet, email, and Microsoft Office Suite.
