Geotechnical Engineer

Our client, a leader in assurance, testing, inspection, and consulting for civil and commercial construction, is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide geotechnical engineering support for a variety of projects, including transportation, infrastructure, and multi-family developments.
• Perform evaluations using standard geotechnical techniques, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Interpret lab and field test results, make informed recommendations, and prepare/review comprehensive reports.
• Assign and manage tasks for both local and remote team members.
• Develop detailed scopes, budgets, and schedules for various assignments.
• Build and maintain client relationships while identifying new project opportunities.
• Attend client meetings and communicate effectively with project teams.
• Train and mentor junior technical staff.
• Conduct on-site observations and inspections.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
• P.E. License.
• Proficiency in GeoStudio, APILE, LPILE, GROUP, SHAFT, Plaxis, Midas, SLIDE, Settle3D, and MSEW.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
